Belleek Classic 1880 - Gold Shamrock Cup and Saucer - *Belleek.com - Exclusive*
The Shamrock Eighteen Eighty 1880 Collection Dating back over 140 years, the Wickerwork basket was once the main way of carrying everything from potatoes to turf in Ireland; and indeed these baskets were used in the Belleek factory to carry pottery from one department to another. This timeless design was first introduced in the 1880's when Belleek designer Michael Maguire came up with the idea of using the basketweave pattern along with Shamrocks to create the now world famous Belleek Shamrock pattern. Gold lines were introduced to give this range that extra premium look and effect. Handcrafted in Ireland Handpainted Handwash Only Measures - Saucer - 16.5cmD, Teacup 11.4cmW x 7.1cmH x 177mlC
