Leather Care: Moisturize With time and handling, leather can lose moisture and oils, leading to dryness, flaking, and wrinkling. To keep the leather supple, it should be moisturized regularly. We recommend using a quality leather balsam containing a blend of natural waxes and oils such as beeswax, jojoba oil, and avocado oil. Dip an application sponge or a soft cloth into the balsam and rub it gently over the bag. If the leather doesn’t absorb it all, wipe off the excess with a clean cloth. Air it every few weeks to prevent mold. No Alcohol: Avoid products containing alcohol or acetone as they can damage the leather. Stretch Marks: Do not overstuff your bag as leather stretches out but does not revert back. Humidity can accelerate this process. Smells: If your bag absorbs odors, place an open container of baking soda inside and leave it overnight to absorb the smells.
