Epson T636600 UltraChrome HDR Vivid Light Magenta Ink f/7890, 7900, 9890 & 9900
How the Epson Stylus Pro 7900 (24 inch) and Stylus Pro 9900 (44 inch) revolutionize the world of digital printing with their ten-colour printing capability, thanks to the innovative Epson UltraChrome HDR (High Dynamic Range) ink technology. This groundbreaking ink set, including the UltraChrome HDR 700 ml Vivid Light Magenta High Density Resin Pigment Based Ink, integrates orange and green, significantly broadening the colour spectrum and enhancing digital printing possibilities in the packaging and remote proofing sectors.Epson's UltraChrome HDR ink is a high-density resin-coated pigment ink formulation that includes a three-level black ink technology - photo black, light black, and light light black, along with cyan, light cyan, vivid magenta, vivid light magenta, yellow, orange, and green. An on-board matte black is also available, which can be auto-switched with photo black. This new generation of UltraChrome HDR ink offers a refined graininess in skin tone areas, smoother tonal gradation from shadows to highlights, superior short-term colour stability, and exceptional long-term lightfastness. It provides highly accurate colour control with neutral black and white, and high gloss levels on water-resistant prints.Cost-efficiency is achieved with the introduction of two high-capacity ink cartridges (350 and 700ml), contributing to a lower cost per millilitre of ink. These high-capacity ink cartridges also decrease the frequency of cartridge replacements, promoting more unattended printing. The Stylus Pro 7900 and Stylus Pro 9900 feature Epson's MicroPiezo TFP (Thin Film Piezo) print head, equipped with 360 nozzles per inch for each of the ten active ink cartridges. Epson's Ink Repelling Coating for the print head and Automatic Ink Detection (AID) system work together to prevent downtime by minimizing and detecting nozzle clogging in advance, and eliminating paper waste during the cleaning process.Epson's AID technology employs a sensor near the print head that monitors the electrical charges on the ink droplets as they are fired. A lower than expected electrical charge indicates insufficient ink was fired, triggering the print head cleaning process automatically. Compared to current 8-colour 24 inch and 44 inch printers, the print speed is significantly increased, with the Stylus Pro 7900 producing an A1 (720x720dpi) sellable quality print on Epson's Premium Glossy Photo Paper in a remarkable 5 minutes.
