The PING G440 HL (High Launch) build is specifically designed for slower swing-speed golfers. Custom-engineered with a lighter head weight, shaft, and grip than the standard offerings, the HL's reduced weight creates more swing and ball speed, resulting in consistently higher-launching, longer-carrying shots. G440 Irons feature an all-new face design. By shallowing the face height, PING's engineers were able to make it 9% thinner and, thus, more flexible than the previous model without jeopardizing its structural integrity, resulting in increased ball speed across the hitting surface. As an added benefit, the face's newly reduced dimensions save approximately 4g of weight per iron, which is strategically reallocated to lower the center of gravity, further boosting speed and improving forgiveness. Combine these cutting-edge enhancements with a shortened blade length and a thinner topline, and the G440 is significantly faster and unquestionably more visually appealing than its predecessor while retaining PING's legendary forgiveness.
