Don’t worry, it’s a completely natural part of using brass. While our holders are lacquered on the inside to help reduce direct contact, brass is a living material that responds to its environment. Exposure to air, moisture, and even time alone can encourage the development of a soft green hue, especially when paired with rich, complex fragrance blends. This gentle patina is part of brass’s charm—it doesn’t affect the burn, scent, or quality of your candle. Instead, it’s a mark of character and evolution, making each vessel uniquely yours over time.
