Clean the wax - before each subsequent use, ensure there is no debris, matches, or wick trimmings in the wax pool. Remove any such materials before relighting the candle. Trim the wick - your wick should be about ÂŒ inch (0. 6 cm) in length each time you light. Remember to reuse and recylce - when the wick is burnt away, clean your vessel with warm water. Remove all the wax, remove the wick base. Refuse or recycle your clean vessel - remember to recycle your packaging too!
