Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc Build-A-Bear Monet Water Lilies Bear Plush

We're delighted to partner with Build-A-Bear Workshop, a brand beloved for their cuddly plush bears since 1997, on this limited-edition bear inspired by The Met collection. The beautiful blooms decorating this adorable plush bear come from Claude Monet's (French, 1840-1926) Water Lilies (1919) in The Met collection. Monet was a key figure in the Impressionist movement that transformed French painting in the second half of the 19th century. He was also a passionate horticulturist with ambitious plans for a garden at his home in Giverny. In 1893, he oversaw the creation of his now-famous pond planted with water lilies, and his subsequent paintings are among the world's most adored works of art.
